Nestled among mature trees and elevated terrain, the design harmonizes with its environment through the use of natural materials and colour palette, while maintaining a confident presence.

The exterior showcases a rich, layered palette of long-format brick, natural timber, and off-form concrete. Horizontally laid bricks stretch the visual proportions of the home, anchoring it into the landscape. Vertical timber cladding brings warmth and texture, softening the structure and echoing the site’s organic context. Sculptural concrete elements add a sense of permanence and architectural gravitas.

Inside, the home opens to a sequence of light-filled spaces oriented westward, framing sweeping views of the city skyline. Timber continues throughout the interiors, lining ceilings and feature walls to create a unified, inviting ambiance. Polished concrete floors add thermal efficiency and a sleek, contemporary feel, while restrained detailing allows the natural materials to take center stage.

Seamlessly extending from the main living spaces, the alfresco area becomes the heart of outdoor life—generous in scale, sheltered, and designed for year-round use. Directly adjacent, the infinity edge pool is positioned to hover at the edge of the site, visually projecting toward the distant city skyline. The negative edge dissolves the boundary between water and horizon, amplifying the drama of the elevated location.
