This was a high end 1 into 2 development where the owner was to keep one side as their forever home. Seaview Road, Tennyson is Adelaide’s most prestigious beach side address and the homes needed to be equally as impressive. When designing absolute beach front homes, the design needs to take into consideration more than just maximising views. The designs need to consider suitable materials that will stand up to the constant sea spay and strong winds whilst minimising ongoing maintenance. The design also needs to consider usable spaces in all weather conditions and times of the day. These Tennyson homes tick every box. A 22 metre lap pool fits with views from all parts of the home looking in on the glistening water. The pool was tucked down the side of the home sheltered from the predominant south west wind. This allows the pool to be used year round (with heaters of course)!
